What is Eatelish
We started Eatelish as a celebration of wonderful food and warm stories about food, cooking, flavors and experiences. The food and the stories could be from the homes of our neighbours, from a tiny cafe in the back streets of Mumbai or even from the kitchen of a celebrated chef.
At Eatelish, we write about food that we enjoy, recipes from real kitchens from all over India and sometimes around the world, restaurant experiences we want to share, and the food spirits of cities.
We love helping people discover the exciting variety of food made by great artisanal food makers across India. We’re introducing people to local ingredients and cooking methods found in towns and cultures across the country.
Who Are We
What we write about on Eatelish comes from conversations we’ve had, food we’ve eaten, restaurants we’ve been to, things we’ve cooked in our own kitchens.
We’re two women who love to eat, love to travel and love to talk about the things we love, with professional backgrounds in sales and marketing, but mainly with serious backgrounds in eating, discovering, cooking and sharing.
