Eatelish is a curated marketplace and a platform for the country’s artisan food makers to reach our tables. Our product range consists of handpicked and artisanal food from around India across various categories such as Spices, Snacks, Condiments and Drink Mixes.
We started Eatelish as a celebration of wonderful food and warm stories about food, cooking, flavours and experiences and now, we are helping people discover the exciting variety of food made by great artisan food makers across India. Along with that, we are introducing people to local ingredients and cooking methods found in towns and cultures across the country.
Eatelish is also a great source of inspiration in discovery and exploration of many food cultures and eating habits around India. We also mention the conversations we’ve had, recipes from real kitchens from all over India and sometimes, around the world, restaurant experiences we want to share and the food spirits of cities.
Eatelish was created on the basis of eating, discovering, cooking and sharing.
Food in India makes the timid of people incredibly passionate. Battle lines are drawn over who cooks a better fish curry to which ingredient can be used and should not be used and this answer can change over a few kilometres.
India, with its diverse food landscape has a million stories to tell, Eatelish started with the intent of being that storyteller. Over a few months of existence, we realised that while the stories were unique, the actual food was even more so. We worked with artisanal food makers across the country to make the taste of India accessible for everyone.
